, and sustainable development, the organization focuses on addressing systemic barriers that hinder the socio-economic and political advancement of African women and girls, including Afro-descendants. Our goal is to create agents of positive change by empowering women and girls to rise above challenges and contribute meaningfully to their communities. From economic empowerment and gender equality to environmental advocacy, we are committed to fostering a resilient and inclusive society. Our Mandate
Despite progress, African women, particularly in Ghana, face significant barriers to political participation, economic opportunity, and environmental engagement. With women holding only a small percentage of parliamentary seats in Ghana, restrictive social norms, limited leadership training, and cultural biases impede their full potential. The Strong Woman Changemaker Africa was established to address these challenges by:
•Offering leadership training and mentorship for women and girls.
•Engaging communities in dialogue to shift restrictive social norms.
•Partnering with NGOs, government bodies, multilateral organizations, and philanthropists to create impactful programs.
