Our Story
Wise and Solace Foundation (WSF) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2012 out of empathy for humanity and development by Mr Wisdom Sena Agoha for quality Education and good Health delivery to the less privileged children and youth in rural deprived areas in Ghana. WSF was officially registered as an NGO in February, 2012 under the company’s code of Ghana with the objective of working to improve children’s access to and participation in quality education and health delivery in Ghana. Our goal is to give as many children as possible the opportunity of a brighter future and a better life which is in fulfillment of the UN goal that every young person everywhere shall have the opportunity to access quality education and health by 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3 and 4 which targets is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and Health for every human being in the world.
In our quest to make a significant difference in the lives of the less privileged, WSF has been promoting quality Education and quality Health delivery in the communities we operate. The following are a few examples: Donation of School supplies to schools, After Class Hours (Extra teaching in public schools), Exchange Programs, Help feed the less privileged Christmas every etc in schools from ketu north of the Volta region and donation of medical equipment to the Ghana Health directorate to both ketu north and south of the Volta region. WSF can boldly attest that over 50000 people who are Children, youth and Adults but majority as children both boys and girls and their mothers are the major beneficiaries since we started.
These donations and interventions were made possible through friends and families, Companies; LDS CHARITY,TIGO GHANA, LETAP GROUP,BASE PHARMACY and our crowdfunding sources.
