Director of Operations at the Office of the Vice President, Ismaella Ibrahim writes

I was privilege to be with the Eastern Regional Boys Brigade at their regional conference on today Saturday July 20, 2024, held at Akim Oda.
I used the occasion to emphasize the importance of imitating Christ's example in life, as stated in the theme "Imitating Christ, Our Perfect Example in Life." I encouraged the members of the Boys' Brigade to reflect on how they can embody Jesus Christ's teachings and example in their daily lives. I highlighted four key aspects of imitating Christ: servant leadership, compassion and empathy, unwavering faith and trust in God, and forgiveness and grace.

I urged the young men to lead through service, practice kindness and understanding, cultivate a prayerful life, and strive for integrity and righteousness. Reminding them that imitating Christ is a lifelong journey that requires dedication, humility, and a heart open to God's leading. I concluded by encouraging the conference attendees to leave inspired and committed to being Christ-like in all that they do, making a positive impact in their communities, schools, and homes.
