𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝…

There was simply a young woman with a heart for people, a burden for young lives, and a growing conviction that something could be done.

Before The MADDO Foundation had a name, a vision statement, or projects to point to, there was a dream.

A dream to create spaces where young people could learn, grow, heal, discover purpose and become all that they were created to be.
And somewhere along the way, the dream became a foundation.

Today, we celebrate the woman behind that vision.

The woman who continues to show up, ask questions, dream bigger, and put her hands to the work—even when the road ahead isn't always clear.
Maame Afia Durowaa Dorothy Opoku, our Executive Lead, today we celebrate YOU.

We celebrate your heart.
Your vision.
Your courage to begin.
And your willingness to keep becoming while building something that serves others.

May this new chapter bring you deeper purpose, greater grace, fresh strength and the joy of seeing the seeds you've planted grow beyond what you imagined.

Happy Birthday, Maame Durowaa. 🥳❤️

If drugs could talk...

"I won't introduce myself as addiction”.

I'll come disguised as curiosity.
As fun.
As an escape.
As 'just this once'.
As everyone else is doing it.

I'll make you believe you're in control, until one day, you're not.

I'll steal your peace before I steal your future.

And by the time you realize what I've taken from you, walking away won't be as easy as walking in.

Thankfully, drugs don't get the final word.

You do.

Choose purpose.
Choose clarity.
Choose your future.

Choose to be High on Life, Not on Drugs.💙

On Friday, 26th June 2026, in commemoration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, The MADDO Foundation hosted The Whole Man Seminar 2026 under the campaign theme:

"High on Life, Not on Drugs”.

What began as a vision to create conversations that matter became a room full of purpose, learning, hope, and transformation.

The Whole Man Seminar was not just another event — it was a movement. A movement that reminded us that behind every young person is a dream worth protecting, a future worth investing in, and a life worth preserving.

Throughout the day, our speakers shared practical wisdom, powerful personal experiences, and thought-provoking insights on purpose, leadership, career development, personal growth, mental well-being, and the devastating effects of substance abuse. Every session challenged minds, inspired hearts, and encouraged our participants to make intentional choices that will shape their futures.

To our distinguished speakers, thank you for believing in this vision and using your voices to ignite change. Your words have planted seeds that will continue to grow long after the seminar has ended.

To the headteachers and school authorities who entrusted us with your students, thank you for recognizing the importance of conversations like these. Your support made this initiative possible.

To every participant who showed up with an open mind, asked questions, shared experiences, and actively engaged throughout the seminar — thank you. You are the reason this mission matters. We hope you leave not just informed, but empowered to become ambassadors of positive change in your schools, homes, and communities.

As we commemorate the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, we are reminded that the fight against drug abuse cannot be left to institutions alone. It is a collective responsibility. Families, educators, community leaders, faith-based organizations, policymakers, and young people themselves all have a role to play.

At MADDO Foundation, this seminar is only the beginning. We remain committed to creating safe spaces for education, mentorship, advocacy, and empowerment because we believe prevention begins with conversation, and transformation begins with one informed decision.

To every young person reading this:

Your dreams are bigger than any substance.
Your purpose is greater than any addiction.
Your future is too valuable to gamble away.

Choose purpose.
Choose discipline.
Choose impact.
Choose life.

Choose to be High on Life, Not on Drugs.

To everyone who made The Whole Man Seminar 2026 a success — THANK YOU! 💙🧡💗

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for every speaker, partner, volunteer, teacher, student, supporter, and every individual who believed in this vision.

Your presence, prayers, encouragement, and contributions have made a lasting impact in the lives of many young people. Because of you, conversations were started, minds were challenged, lives were inspired, and hope was renewed.

Together, we are redefining strength and reclaiming the future.

HIGH ON LIFE, NOT ON DRUGS.

This is more than a slogan — it is a movement. A movement empowering young people to choose purpose over pressure, hope over hopelessness, and life over destructive choices.

As we celebrate what we've accomplished together, we remain committed to building a generation of young people who are informed, empowered, and equipped to lead with integrity.

We look forward to doing even more together.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL! ❤️

For the Youth. For the Future.

📢 IMPORTANT COMMUNIQUÉ

The MADDO Foundation (TMF) wishes to officially inform our cherished partners, supporters, volunteers, and the general public that our upcoming event, THE WHOLE MAN — Redefining Strength, Reclaiming the Future, has been postponed.

This decision comes as a mark of respect and honor to the Agogo Traditional Area following the demise of the Paramount Chief, and in observance of the upcoming One Week celebration and traditional rites. Consequently, there will be a temporary ban on public activities from 18th May till June.

As an organization that values culture, tradition, and community, we believe it is important to stand in solidarity with the people of Agogo during this period.

A new date for the event will be communicated in due course.

We sincerely apologize and appreciate your understanding, support, and continuous commitment to the vision of raising a drug-free and purpose-driven generation.

🙏 Thank you for standing with us.
