AGOGONKOSOHENE NANA AKWASI ACHEAMPONG SUPPORTS TEN BRILLIANT BUT NEEDY STUDENTS WITH GHS 20,000 IN AGOGO LAND

Agogonkosohene, Nana Akwasi Acheampong, has once again demonstrated his deep commitment to the development of education and youth empowerment within the Agogo Traditional Area. In a remarkable show of support, he officially launched a “Brilliant and Needy Support Program”, aimed at assisting academically gifted students who face financial hardships.

During the launch event, held on the sacred grounds of Agogo, ten deserving beneficiaries were each presented with GHS 2,000, amounting to a total disbursement of GHS 20,000. This financial support is intended to aid their educational pursuits and ease the burden on their families.

Nana Akwasi Acheampong, through the Managing Director of the initiative, Mr. Williams Amoako, assured the community that this is just the beginning. He pledged to continue investing in the future of Agogo’s youth, stating that education is a key pillar in building a prosperous and self-sufficient community.

The Agogonkosohene emphasized that this initiative is part of his broader mission to uplift the lives of the people and to create lasting impact through targeted interventions in education and social development.

Nkɔsoɔ Foundation Hails Hon. Sarah Amoakoaa on Trailblazing Appointment

In a historic gesture, Nana Kwasi Acheampong, Nkɔsoɔhene of Agogoman, dispatched a high-powered delegation led by Mr. Williams Amoako, Managing Director of the Nkɔsoɔ Foundation, alongside Nana Oduro Firikyi, Akyigyinafoɔhene, and Kyeame Owusu Ansah, Spokesperson for Agogomanhene, to extend warm congratulations to Hon. Sarah Amoakoaa on her landmark appointment as the first female Municipal Chief Executive of Asante Akim North.

The Nkɔsoɔ Foundation reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to partnering with the new MCE in driving sustainable development and progress across the municipality. To mark the occasion, the delegation presented a citation celebrating her groundbreaking achievement.

Hon. Sarah Amoakoaa, in her remarks, expressed deep appreciation for the honor and pledged to serve with openness and fairness to all — embracing every citizen, irrespective of religion, race, or background.
