In 2013, the Melcom Care Foundation was created to help support Ghanaian communities.

Melcom Care Foundation has donated relief items to the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to support individuals and families affected by the recent floods across various parts of the country.

The items comprised essential food and household supplies, including rice, bottled water, sugar, milk powder, blankets, plastic plates, bowls, and cups, providing immediate relief as they begin rebuilding their lives.

Leading the presentation were Group Executive Director Madam Sonya Sadhwani, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Awal, Chief Operating Officer Mr. Ashok Nair, and other members of Melcom's management team.

Following the recent devastating floods that affected parts of the country, Melcom Care Foundation has provided relief items to staff members impacted by the disaster.

In a spirit of solidarity, the gesture aimed to help staff regain their smiles and get their lives back on track.

The items, including rice, bottled water, sugar, and milk, along with household goods like plasticware, pillows and blankets, which are intended to ease their pain during these challenging times.

The Melcom Care Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Melcom Group Limited, has donated 25 Medical Refrigerators to various healthcare facilities in the country as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

This brings to 70, the total number of medical refrigerators Melcom has donated to health institutions in Ghana, to support effective healthcare delivery.

The beneficiary health institutions include the Ga North Municipal Hospital, Ga West Municipal Hospital, LEKMA Hospital, Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, Tarkwa Government Hospital, 37 Military Hospital, Tema General Hospital, Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Police Hospital and Nsawam Government Hospital.

Others are Kuntanase District Hospital, Essikado Hospital, Ashaiman Municipal Hospital, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Sefwi Wiawso Municipal Hospital, Techimantia Polyclinic, and Holy Family Hospital, Berekum.

The rest are Trauma Specialist Hospital, Ho Teaching Hospital, Bibiani Municipal Hospital, Manhyia District Hospital and the Greater Accra Blood Centre of the National Blood Service NBS).
