International Labour Conference 2026: Unions win global protection standard for platform workers

The Ghana Mineworkers' Union joins International Tuc Ghana, International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), IndustriALL Global Union and other Trade Unions in welcoming the historic adoption of Decent Work in the Platform Economy Convention, 2026, by the 114th International Labour Conference.

This marks a major step towards ensuring that millions of platform workers enjoy the rights, protections and dignity that every worker deserves.
