FINAL DAY | FRIDAY EVENING SESSION

The National Executive Council’s Special Prayer and Fasting Programme of the Christ Apostolic Church International came to a powerful close on Friday, 7th August 2026, at Anim, Asamankese, with a strong call for the Church to seek a fresh endowment of the Holy Spirit.

The final sermon was delivered by the Prophetic Director, Apostle Samuel Kpeli Mensah, who ministered on the topic, “Endue Us With Your Spirit, O Lord,” drawing from Luke 24:49 and Acts 3:19–21.

In his message, Apostle Kpeli Mensah challenged the Church to earnestly seek the empowerment and presence of the Holy Spirit, emphasizing the need for spiritual renewal, repentance, and readiness to fulfill the mandate of Christ. He reminded the congregation that the work of the Church cannot be effectively accomplished without divine enablement.

The programme was climaxed with a powerful Anointing Service led by the Acting Chairman, Apostle Stephen Acheampong, with support from the General Secretary, Apostle Samuel Addai K**i; the former Chairman, Apostle Stephen Amoani; and other members of the National Executive Council.

The anointing service provided a fitting conclusion to days of prayer, fasting, teaching, and spiritual reflection, as ministers and members sought God’s presence and empowerment for the advancement of His Kingdom.

The Special Prayer and Fasting Programme has once again reinforced the call for the Church to return to the apostolic foundations, embrace spiritual renewal, and remain empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfill its divine mandate in these critical times.

DAY 3 | FRIDAY MORNING SESSION

The Christian Education Director of the Christ Apostolic Church International, Apostle Dr. Robert Asomadu-Kyereme, delivered a powerful and thought-provoking message during the Friday morning session of the National Executive Council’s Special Prayer and Fasting Programme at Anum, Asamankese.

Speaking on the topic, “Restoring the Gifts of the Apostles in Our Days,” and drawing from Acts 3:19–21 and Joel 2:25–29, he called on the Church to earnestly seek a restoration of the spiritual gifts and graces that characterized the apostolic Church.

Apostle Dr. Asomadu-Kyereme emphasized the need for genuine repentance, spiritual renewal, and a return to God as essential pathways to experiencing the restoration He has promised. He encouraged believers to position themselves for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and to recognize, develop, and deploy the gifts God has entrusted to His Church for the advancement of His Kingdom.

The message further highlighted God’s ability to restore what has been lost, renew what has become weak, and pour out His Spirit upon His people in these critical times.

As the Special Prayer and Fasting Programme continues, the Church remains committed to seeking God’s face for revival, restoration, and a renewed apostolic expression.
