In two days, Ms Nana Serwa Wiafe and Team LBS will at the Millennium Marathon in Accra.
Run for Preemies is more than a race. It is hope for Ghana’s tiniest fighters.
Every year, 128,000 babies are born too soon in Ghana. About 9,000 of them do not make it home.
Behind each statistic is a mother who waited. A family who prayed. A baby who deserved a chance to live.
Our participation in the Millennium Marathon each year gives us an opportunity to raise awareness and funds to support LittleBigSouls programs that give premature babies born in our region a fighting chance at life.
This year is a little bit more special with Nana Serwa Wiafe, our Brand Ambassador, running the 21k marathon.
She started running as part of her own healing journey and has gone on to smash records.
On Saturday, 12th September, she will be running with a bigger purpose, for every premature baby in Ghana who is still fighting to survive, thrive and grow.
A preemie mum herself, she cares form a place of knowing and that’s why this means so much to her.
We are so proud to have her on our team.
