Thanksgiving & Community Outreach | Sunday, 19th July 2026

As part of the successful conclusion of our Assin Youth Dialogue and Exercise Books Donation, the Youth Convo Initiative joined the Hope Ministries International Church, Assin Nyankumasi, for a special thanksgiving service to give glory to God and appreciate the church for its prayers and support.

During the service, we presented exercise books to the Sunday School children and made a thanksgiving donation. We remain committed to empowering young people through education, leadership, and community development as we look forward to even greater impact in the years ahead.

On Sunday, 19th July 2026, as part of the climax of our successful Assin Youth Dialogue and Exercise Books Donation, the Youth Convo Initiative joined the Hope Ministries International Church, Assin Nyankumasi, for a special thanksgiving service to express our profound gratitude to God and appreciate the church for its prayers and unwavering support.

During the service, we presented copies of our exercise books to the Sunday School children and made a thanksgiving donation to the church in appreciation of God's faithfulness throughout the project. As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to touching more lives through education, leadership, and community development. By God's grace, even greater and more impactful initiatives lie ahead.

Media Engagement at the Assin Youth Dialogue and Exercise Books Donation 2026

During the Assin Youth Dialogue and Exercise Books Donation 2026, the Founder of Youth Convo Initiative, Solomon Asante Buadu, addressed the media on the significance of the programme and the need for active youth participation in community and national development.

Speaking to journalists, Mr. Buadu explained that the initiative was designed to empower young people through leadership, education, and civic engagement while supporting students with the donation of exercise books to enhance teaching and learning.

He emphasized that the future of every community depends on the active involvement of its youth, encouraging them to take advantage of opportunities that promote personal growth, leadership, volunteerism, and responsible citizenship.

Mr. Buadu also called on stakeholders, development partners, educational institutions, and community leaders to continue investing in youth-focused initiatives, stressing that empowering young people today is the surest way to build a stronger and more prosperous society.

The Assin Youth Dialogue was more than just an event, it was a platform for empowering young people to find their voice, embrace leadership, and contribute meaningfully to community development.

It was an honour to share the vision of the Youth Convo Initiative (YCI) with the media, highlighting our commitment to education, youth empowerment, and nation-building. YOUTH CONVO INITIATIVE HONOURS ODENEHO KWAKYE APPIAH FOR HIS MENTORSHIP AND UNWAVERING SUPPORT

On Friday, 3rd July 2026, Youth Convo Initiative had the honour of recognizing Odeneho Kwakye Appiah for his exceptional guidance, mentorship, and unwavering support to the Founder of the Initiative over the years.

Speaking during the presentation, the Founder shared that Odeneho Kwakye Appiah's impact on his life began while he was a student at Assin Nsuta Senior High School. As he prepared for his final WASSCE examinations, Odeneho Kwakye Appiah personally paid for his extra tutorial classes, particularly in Mathematics, ensuring he had the academic support needed to excel.

The Founder further explained that this act of kindness marked the beginning of a mentorship that continued through his years at Pentecost University and now in his leadership and community service in Assin Central. He noted that the encouragement, opportunities, guidance, and confidence Odeneho Kwakye Appiah has consistently offered have played a significant role in shaping the leader he is today.

This recognition was not only a personal expression of gratitude from the Founder but also a heartfelt appreciation from the entire Team Youth Convo Initiative. It reflects the Initiative's belief that investing in young people through mentorship, education, and encouragement creates leaders who will, in turn, transform their communities.

Youth Convo Initiative sincerely thanks Odeneho Kwakye Appiah for his enduring commitment to empowering the next generation. His life continues to demonstrate that true leadership is measured not only by positions held but by the lives touched and the future built through selfless service.
