VIS Alliance Ghana, in collaboration with RAK Academy, is recruiting a Teaching Assistant Volunteer for a national mission in the Savannah Region.

𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲:
Teaching Assistant: Community-Based Academic Support Mission

𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘅𝘁:
RAK Academy is an educational institution located in Bole, Savannah Region. The school is committed to improving learning outcomes and supporting holistic child development. Through this national volunteering mission, RAK Academy Ghana seeks to strengthen classroom support and enhance student engagement across various subject areas.

𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
The volunteer will support teaching and learning activities in English, Science, Mathematics, French, Computing, and Career Technology at the Upper Primary to Junior High School levels.
The mission is to assist teachers in delivering quality education, promote meaningful interaction with students, and support students’ academic growth and behavioral transformation.
The volunteer, in collaboration with the educational team, will carry out the following tasks:
• Assist teachers with lessons and classroom activities
• Tutor or mentor students individually or in small groups
• Conduct reading or storytelling sessions
• Support the teaching of Science, Mathematics, English, French, Computing, and Career Technology
• Organize and supervise school clubs or extracurricular activities
• Assist in school events, competitions, and exhibitions
• Participate actively in all school activities

𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆:
• Be a Ghanaian
