Join our mission to safeguard children, empower youth, and strengthen families to promote well-being, resilience, and positive futures through wholistic support.

Title of Role: Social Worker (Alternative Family Based Care)
Location: Adenta

Level of Experience:
• At least two (2) years of experience in social work preferred.
• Sensitivity in communicating and developing cross-cultural relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a team player and highly collaborative.
• Demonstrated clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality. • Computer and typing skills
sufficient to perform essential job functions.
• Pass a criminal history screen.

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in social work, Behavioral Sciences, or a Social Sciences field from an accredited University.

At Sanctuary for Children, we believe this is more than scripture — it is a divine mandate.
Too many children are separated from their families because of poverty, crisis, or vulnerability — not because they are unloved. We are committed to strengthening families, restoring children to safe and loving homes, and advancing foster care, kinship care, and adoption when reunification is not possible.
To deepen and expand this mission, we are prayerfully inviting experienced, faith-driven leaders to join our Board of Advisors.

As our Advisory Board Member
Play a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s global network, advising on strategies, and opening doors to international collaborations. Members will serve as ambassadors of our mission, offering strategic guidance and helping us build lasting relationships with donors, partners, and impact investors.
