The International Human Rights Movement has formally announced the election of Mr HRH Kelvin Morgan as President of the organization in Ghana. The appointment is for a three year term. The decision aims to strengthen the promotion of human rights, institutional development, and the protection of universal human values in Ghana.

The International Human Rights Movement is a global organization working to advance human dignity, fundamental freedoms, equality, and justice worldwide. The organization operates across Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. It works in line with United Nations human rights principles. : For many years, the vibrant and talented youth of Africa have been denied their rightful place in shaping their futures and contributing positively to the society. This issue is deeply personal to me as I have witnessed, time and again, how the world disregards the voices and potential of Africa's young people. My experiences have underscored a painful truth: nobody respects the African youth.
Africa is the continent with the youngest population in the world, with over 60% of its population under the age of 25. However, this enormous reservoir of potential remains untapped due to a lack of opportunity and persistent marginalization. Reports by UNICEF and other respected agencies consistently highlight the barriers faced by young Africans, including inadequate education and employment opportunities, limited access to healthcare, and exclusion from political decision-making processes.
Moreover, societal attitudes often perpetuate the belief that young people should be seen but not heard. As a result, young Africans are not only sidelined but often face immense pressure to conform to generations-old traditions, limiting their ability to innovate and enact change.
But it doesn't have to be this way. We can change it. The solution lies in fostering an environment where young Africans are encouraged and empowered to take roles in leadership and decision-making processes. Governments across the continent need to prioritize youth engagement policies that are inclusive and progressive. Offering skill-building programs, creating mentorship opportunities, and ensuring equal access to education are essential steps toward this goal.
By signing this petition, you can help give a voice to Africa’s youth, advocating for their right to be respected and to have a say in their own futures. Encourage African leaders and international bodies to listen and take action now. Join me in demanding change and ensuring that the potential of Africa's youth is not overlooked but embraced and c
