We celebrate Brenda Abajwori, a former student of the academy, who has been honored with the Presidential Independence Day Award on the 4th of March,2026. Brenda emerged as one of the three best students in the entire Upper Region of Ghana and among the top 52 students in the whole country. This remarkable achievement is not just a personal victory for Brenda—it is a powerful testimony.
Her recognition, presented at the national ceremony with the Vice President of Ghana as the Guest of Honour and the Deputy Minister, Dr. Apark, present, sends a clear and inspiring message to the nation:
When the underprivileged are given opportunity, support, and belief, they do not just survive—they excel and become the very best.
Brenda’s journey reminds us why we do what we do at Fill the Gap Africa. Many children carry brilliance within them, but without access, mentorship, and encouragement, that brilliance may never be seen. Today, Brenda stands as living proof that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not always equally distributed.
To Brenda, we say:
Your success has become a beacon of hope for many young girls and boys who come from difficult backgrounds but dare to dream. You have made your family, your school, your community, and the entire Fill the Gap Africa family proud.
May your story continue to inspire a generation to believe that their circumstances do not define their destiny.
Congratulations, Brenda Abajwori.
Your light is shining, and the nation is watching. 🇬🇭✨

Grateful. Proud. Deeply inspired. 💙📚
The Fill the Gap Africa Quality Education for Remote Children Project continues to deliver meaningful and measurable results.
We proudly celebrate Brenda Abajwori, a beneficiary of the project, who has been selected by the Ghana Education Service to receive the Presidential Academic Excellence Award (BECE 2025). Even more inspiring, her school emerged 1st in the 2025 BECE examinations in the Kasena Nankana District of the Upper East Region.
This official recognition by the Ghana Education Service powerfully reaffirms why we do the work we do. It is a proof that when children regardless of location, are given the right opportunity, support, and belief, excellence follows.
At Fill the Gap Africa, we exist to close educational gaps in remote communities where access to quality education remains limited. With committed teachers, supportive learning environments, and timely educational interventions, hidden potential is unlocked.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Headteacher and dedicated staff whose leadership and commitment turned potential into outstanding performance.
This is impact that matters.
This is how lives are transformed one child, one school, one opportunity at a time ✨
