A Native Of Cape Coast In 1962 While Still A Civil Servant With Ghana Railway Corporation At His Residence (Railway Quarters) Abossey Okai, A Suburb Of Accra Ghana. The Greatest Of All The Searches Was Through His Obsessive Enthusiastic Feelings Towards The Plight Of The Stree...t Boys And Girls As Misfit In The Society, And How To Train Them For Full And Complete Manhood And Womanhood, So That Th

ey Might Play Their Part In The Life Of The State And The World. And One Of His Particular Aims Was To Train The Youths Who Should Be Capable Of Filling The Highest Offices In The State. After Much Thought He Applied His Practical Wisdom To Train A Youngman By Name J. There Grew In This Youngman A Consuming Curiosity In The Course Of His Training And Advised The Founder To Advertise For The Idle Hands Roaming In The Streets To Enroll For Training. Prah Welcomed The Idea And Acted Accordingly. To His Utter Amazement, The Only Apartment He Occupied At The Time Was Flooded With Youngman And Women Who Were So Keen To Enroll For Various Career Paths. This Necessitated A Need To Reside The School At Its Present Geographical Location, Mataheko, A Suburb Of Accra Ghana. Emit Accordingly Was An Institution For Boys And Girls Included Only TWO Departments Of Education, Namely, Telecommunication And Radio Servicing. As The Tides Of European Civilization Were Sweeping Over Ghana Very Rapidly And So EMIT Aimed At Giving The Very Best Of Modern Science And Technological Education By Introducing More Courses To Meet The Ever Growing Needs Of The Country:
