NIMA cares

NIMA cares The orphanage was established in 2019 as a result of the less fortunate children ........ The area is also home to great Islamic scholars.

Background

Nima is a Muslim-dominated suburb, with poor living conditions coupled with various social problems as mentioned above. There is no much motivation for education and school drop-outs have been an unfortunate part of the community. To inculcate the habit of reading the Holy Qur’an in children, we created Taaju Al-Rahmah (Our first musabaqah) in 2014 as a pilot program at ICODEHS mosques

. Founded in 2014, Network for Intellectual Muslims Africa (NIMA) Care was registered in 2015 in Accra – Ghana (West Africa), with the focus of organizing Qur’an competition for the less privileged across Ghana. The orphanage was established in 2019 as a result of the less fortunate children towards our effort of improving their lives to become self-reliant. NIMA Cares Foundation works with the National Chief Imam Office-Ghana and Social Welfare Service - Ghana.
