Today, we had the opportunity to visit one of the largest construction companies in Ghana, where we engaged in productive discussions around improving operational efficiency and maintenance processes.

Our focus was on introducing HIFI Filters solutions, demonstrating how the right filtration systems can simplify maintenance, extend equipment lifespan, and reduce downtime across heavy machinery and construction equipment. We explored practical ways to make operations smoother, more cost-effective, and reliable through proper filter selection and technical support.

This visit marks another strong step in supporting major industry players with smarter, more efficient solutions tailored to their daily challenges.

Today we visited one of the biggest rubber factories in Ghana as part of our ongoing industrial visits to major production facilities. During this visit, we focused on inspecting their air compressor systems, particularly the units from Hertz and Dalgakiran, to evaluate their current operating condition and maintenance requirements.

Our team carried out a technical assessment of the compressors, reviewing their performance, filtration systems, and overall efficiency. We also discussed possible service and maintenance solutions that can help improve reliability and reduce unexpected downtime in their production process.

In addition to the compressors, we inspected several of the factory’s production machines to identify their filtration needs. We introduced HIFI Filters as a solution to support their maintenance operations by supplying high-quality replacement filters for compressors, hydraulic systems, and other industrial equipment used in the facility.

This visit allowed us to better understand the factory’s technical requirements and opened the opportunity to support them with Hertz and Dalgakiran compressor solutions, along with HIFI filtration products, to enhance machine performance and ensure smooth and efficient factory operations.

Today we had the opportunity to visit one of the largest plastic manufacturing factories in Ghana. During the visit, our team from M&H Engineering Ltd, representing HIFI Filters, conducted a technical inspection of several production machines and equipment used in the factory.

The main purpose of this visit was to identify filtration solutions for machines where the factory has been facing difficulties finding the correct filters in the local market. We carefully inspected the installed filter elements, measured specifications, and documented the models currently in use.

Through HIFI Filters, we are able to provide equivalent or improved filtration solutions for hydraulic systems, air filtration, oil filtration, and other industrial applications used in plastic production machinery.

Our goal is to support industrial companies in Ghana by ensuring:

• Availability of replacement filters that are difficult to source locally
• Improved machine performance and longer equipment lifespan

Accra & Tema Industrial Tour – Representing Hertz Compressors & HIFI Filters

Day 3 of our strategic industrial tour across Accra and Tema was highly productive and focused on strengthening long-term partnerships within Ghana’s manufacturing and heavy industrial sectors.

Together with the Hertz visitor to Ghana, we continued presenting the full range of Hertz Air Compressors, highlighting their energy efficiency, durability, and suitability for continuous industrial operations. We conducted technical discussions with maintenance managers and engineering teams, carefully assessing existing compressor installations and identifying opportunities for system upgrades, performance optimization, and preventive maintenance planning.

In parallel, we introduced HIFI Filters solutions across multiple departments including compressors, generators, forklifts, hydraulic systems, and heavy-duty machinery. We evaluated current filtration setups and demonstrated how HIFI can provide superior protection, extended service intervals, and cost-effective maintenance solutions.

Key Focus Areas for Day 3:
• Inspection of compressed air systems and load performance.
• Review of filtration requirements for heavy equipment and diesel generators.
• Discussions on long-term supply agreements and technical support.

Day 2 of our industrial visit tour continued successfully across key factories and production facilities in Accra and Tema.

Together with the HERTZ Compressors international visitor to Ghana, the M&H Engineering Ltd team carried out detailed technical discussions, site assessments, and system evaluations focused on improving operational efficiency and reliability.

Objectives – Day 2:
• Conducting on-site inspections of existing compressed air systems
• Evaluating compressor performance and energy efficiency
• Reviewing maintenance practices and service intervals
• Introducing genuine HERTZ spare parts and technical support structure
• Promoting HIFI Filters for improved engine and equipment protection

Key Focus Areas:
• Air leakage assessment and pressure stability analysis
• Energy consumption optimization
• Filtration system upgrades for compressors and generators
• Preventive maintenance planning
• Long-term technical partnership discussions

Several facilities expressed strong interest in system upgrades, proper filtration solutions, and structured maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Today marks the official start of our strategic industrial visit tour across Accra and Tema, aimed at strengthening partnerships and representing our international brands in Ghana.

Together with the HERTZ Compressors international visitor to Ghana, our team at M&H Engineering Ltd began a series of high-level visits to major factories, production plants, and industrial facilities within the industrial zones.

Purpose of the Tour:
• Reinforcing the presence of HERTZ Compressors in the Ghanaian market
• Promoting HIFI Filters solutions for generators, heavy equipment, compressors, and industrial machinery
• Understanding operational challenges faced by factories
• Offering tailored engineering and maintenance solutions
• Strengthening long-term technical partnerships

Focus Areas – Day 1:
• Compressed air system performance and efficiency
• Air quality and filtration improvements
• Replacement of non-genuine filters with certified HIFI Filters products
• Maintenance planning and cost optimization
• Technical inspection and system assessment

The response from today’s visits was very positive, with strong interest from several companies in upgrading their compressor systems and filtration components to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and increase overall operational efficiency.

Generator Control System Upgrade – CAT Generator

At M&H Engineering Ltd, we were called to inspect an old CAT generator that was experiencing repeated operational issues due to its outdated controller system.

After a full inspection, we identified that the existing control panel was obsolete, unreliable, and lacking proper protection features. The old system was not responding correctly to faults such as high temperature, low oil pressure, frequency instability, and voltage irregularities — putting the engine and alternator at serious risk of damage.

🔧 Work Performed:
• Complete removal of the old controller system
• Installation of a brand-new DSE (Deep Sea Electronics) controller board
• Rewiring and reconfiguration of the control panel
• Integration of advanced protection systems including:
• High engine temperature protection
• Low oil pressure shutdown
• Over/under voltage protection
• Over/under frequency protection
• Overload protection
• Full calibration and parameter setup according to CAT specifications
• Testing under load to confirm stable operation

The generator is now operating with a modern, reliable control system that ensures maximum protection, better monitoring, and improved performance. The new DSE controller provides accurate readings, automatic shutdown during faults, and long-term safety for the engine.
