World Youth Alliance Ghana DIGNITY*SOLIDARITY*FREEDOM WYA was founded in 1999 by Anna Halpine of United States at the United Nations.

The World Youth Alliance Ghana is a global coalition of young people from more than 160 countries, committed to promoting the dignity of the person and building solidarity among youth from developed and developing nations. Since the beginning of the organization’s inception, WYA maintains a permanent presence at the United Nations and the European Union. The international status of WYA continues t

o grow as it is currently present on five continents. With WYA Headquarters in New York City, regional offices are located in Brussels, Nairobi, Manila and Mexico City. The entire organization is run by young people aged 30 and below. The organization now has membership in Ghana and is having widespread membership among the youth in the Universities and Senior High Schools.
