Rotary Club of Accra Ridge

Rotary Club of Accra Ridge "Service Above Self". The Club is the youngest in Ghana, and indeed in the District, with an average age of 33 years.

On the 24 March 2009,the Rotary Club of Accra-Ridge received its Charter from Rotary International, increasing the number of Rotary Clubs in Ghana to 21, and 12 in the capital, Accra. Projects undertaken by the club so far includes but not limited to; a Clean-up of the Children’s ward of the Ridge Hospital and the donation of two wheelchairs, detergents and some food items to the ward; a Medical s

creening and eye testing in Kwahu Mpraeso municipality, a Soup Kitchen for over a thousand orphans and street children in and around Cape Coast, and many national Polio immunisation programs; amongst others. Currently, the club is planning another medical outreach and also distribution of First Aid boxes to commercial drivers.
