💧 Young Visionary Leaders Ghana in partnership with LoveSpring - water for water and Efterskole (Denmark), has officially commissioned a mechanised water facility for the people of Hobor Community in the Ga South District.

This life-changing project will provide safe and reliable drinking water to over 4000 residents, including school children, helping to reduce waterborne , improve and sanitation, support , and enhance livelihoods.

Access to clean water is a fundamental human right, and this intervention is another step towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being).

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our partners, LoveSpring Denmark and Samsø Efterskole, for their invaluable support and shared commitment to transforming lives.

Together, we can ensure that no community is left behind.

Young Visionary Leaders Ghana is pleased to share that our Executive Director, Joseph Afangbe, will be featured on UTV Ghana tonight to discuss the important issue of rising violence during and after the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

In his capacity as the Greater Accra Regional Coordinator of the Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition - GNECC, Joseph will join other stakeholders to examine the underlying causes of examination-related violence and explore practical solutions to promote peaceful and safe learning environments for all students.

YVLG is proud to support initiatives that advance quality education, youth development, and child protection. We also acknowledge the continuous advocacy efforts of the Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition (GNECC) in promoting inclusive and equitable education across Ghana.

Menstrual health is a right, not a privilege.
This year’s theme,  , calls for a world where every girl and woman can manage her period safely, with dignity and without barriers. Yet, for many, access to clean water, safe sanitation, and hygiene facilities is still a daily challenge. Without water, menstrual hygiene becomes difficult, and dignity is compromised.
Let’s break the stigma and strengthen access to water, sanitation, and hygiene for all. Creating a means ensuring no girl is left behind because of her period.
