Desmond's parents originated from Ashanti Juabeng and settled in Koforidua Sokwaa during the war period. Later through marriage his parents settled in Begoro AKyem Abuakwa. Desmond, therefore, grew up in Begoro though both parents maintain their contact in Juabeng in Ashanti Region. He is a member of the Aduana family group. And still, maintain their Ashanti descent.

Ghana Free SHS follows that of the Scandinavian such as Sweden, Norway, Denmark etc. The least the NDC could do is to review the program and carefully pattern it after that of the USA where certain income levels would compel parents to pay for their wards.

A little modification such as those with 50000 above Ghana cedis per year should be prepared to pay for thier children.
Total cancellation is not a failure on the part of the NPP but rather due to the incompetence of the NDC government.
