SONSETFUND was set up to support the government so that children in the deprived marginalized and Zongo communities in the country should not be denied the right to education because of poverty. This has been the vision of Dr. Sheikh Osmanu Sharubutu the founder of the SONSETFUND, and it will interest you to know that even before setting up this Trust Fund he has been single handedly supporting hu

ndreds of needy children in the country. SONSETFUND understands the challenges of providing quality education and that is why it is calling all stakeholders; corporate organizations, individuals, civil society as well as the government to support the establishment of this Trust Fund to meet the educational needs of the less privileged people.

I can't agree with the author the more, myself included anyway but I, alteast, credit myself for admiting, confessing and telling myself 'we can do better than this'. Today, I cannot be counted as part of the handlers because I am not, I am just a grandson with no executive portfolio.

It all starts with vision, commitment and authentic love for the Oldman.

History will judge the ppl who collapsed the SONSETFUND on allegation of misappropriation of funds without a shred of evidence at a time that the Fund recorded beneficiaries in excess of 4500 Muslim students. If this is not wickedness to the Oldman, what is it?.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ أَجِيبُوا هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةَ إِذَا دُعِيتُمْ لَهَا ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَأْتِي الدَّعْوَةَ فِي الْعُرْسِ وَغَيْرِ الْعُرْسِ وَهْوَ صَائِمٌ‏.‏

Narrated Nafi`:
`Abdullah bin `Umar said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, 'Accept the marriage invitation if you are invited to it.' " Ibn `Umar used to accept the invitation whether to a wedding banquet or to any other party, even when he was fasting.

Assalamu alaykum.

I hope this message reaches you all well.

A client (Mr Adam) presented a request to the Aiders Hub office seeking funds for a brain surgery to treatment a Cerebral aneurysm.
This is a condition where the artery (blood vessel) in the brain balloons out and is at risk of rupture, which can cause a stroke and subsequent death.
The treatment for this condition is very expensive, around *250,000* Ghana cedis.

Fortunately, a foreign medical mission is presently partnering a local team of neurosurgeons to offer this surgery at a very reduced cost of GhC *50,000.*

The team however leaves on Friday, 27th September, 2024. Thus, we have very little time to raise the funds for Mr Adam.

Mr Adam is a butcher, a husband, and a father.

I am hereby making a passionate appeal, seeking your support for Mr Adam to undertake this life saving procedure.

The death of Alhaji Abdullah Showumi Williams, National Coordinator of the Federation of Muslim Councils, Ghana has been reported in the early hours of Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Funeral arrangements will be announced soon.

Alhaji Showumi Williams was a member of the National Chief Imam’s education trust fund, SONSETFUND.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him jannatul firdaws.
