Solutions for Life Initiative Ghana is a grassroot organization, our volunteer and internship program is an initiative to help connect passionate individuals and groups who seek to make a difference in the life of people whiles discovering themselves to the very people whose lives and well-being depends on it where the volunteer achieves more than they give. We seek to use this opportunity to help enroll girls and orphans in school, provide medical care. We are dedicated to the concept of volunteering within our organisation. We welcome and celebrate the skills, knowledge and passion of people who are committed to making a change. We are proud to be part of their journey of self-discovery – a journey where, we find, the rewards are tangible and memorable. To volunteer in Ghana there is nothing like a “best time” Every day of the year is just the right opportunity to make an impact whiles enjoying the Ghanaian hospitality. We have programs ranging from Child care, orphanage work, medical care, creative art, working with the intellectual disable and rehabilitation program. Volunteers are hosted by families that we have vetted and know their credibility for comfort and security.

Our volunteers don't just come to Ghana to observe. They connect with communities, share their skills and learn from the people they serve.

BEYOND THE CLASSROOM. BEYOND THE CLINIC. ❤️🇬🇭

What happens when a psychologist takes time to simply connect with a child?

During her SFLIG Volunteers placement in Ghana, our psychology volunteer spent time with children at a refugee school — listening, playing, learning and creating meaningful moments together. 🥰

For us, volunteering isn't just about what you bring.
It's about the connection you make. 🌍❤️

Are you a psychology student or mental health professional looking for a meaningful international experience?

📚 BACK TO SCHOOL ❤️🇬🇭
The new academic year has started, but some children still need help with books, stationery, and school fees.
As part of our community support, SFLIG has started our Back-to-School Supply Drive. 🎒✏️📚

You can help too. ❤️
One pack of exercise books (GH₵24) can make a difference.

Don’t look away. Look around. Be the help a child needs. 🙏🏾

She came to Ghana as a volunteer. She came back with a purpose. 🇯🇵🇬🇭❤️

previously volunteered with SFLIG Volunteers, supporting our work at the refugee camp.

Now, she has returned to Ghana to conduct research connected to the community where she once served.
This is the kind of connection we hope every volunteer takes home. 🌍

You may come to Ghana for a few weeks or months...
but the impact can last a lifetime.
