On 2nd March 2026, as President & Country Director, I had the honour, together with our Director of Climate Action & Sustainability, Queen Nihad Titiaka Oases Ibrahim, who is also the Founder, EcoGreen Oases Legacy & Winner of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2024 and Mrs. Anthoinet Ohene-Amoah (Director of Training & Talent Development) to pay a courtesy visit U.S. Embassy Ghana and to present a specially designed handwoven smock (Fugu) to the Chargé d’Affaires, Rolf Olson; crafted in the symbolic colours of the United States, as enshrined in the Great Seal of 1782.
This symbolic gift, “Woven in heritage, defined by shared values; where Ghana meets America in courage, unity, and justice”; was graciously received on his behalf by Ms. Donya Eldridge (Cultural & Education Attaché) and Mr. Travis Tokuyama (Public Diplomacy Associate).
This moment represents far more than a presentation; it reflects our unwavering commitment to cultural diplomacy, youth engagement, and strengthening people-to-people ties between Ghana and the United States.
Our discussions were insightful and forward-looking, opening new pathways for collaboration in youth leadership, education, innovation, and sustainable development.
At Future Leaders Model United Nations, Ghana, we remain committed to building bridges, empowering young leaders, and advancing partnerships that create meaningful and lasting impact.
The journey continues……. A Crown of Culture, A Bridge of Nations.
