Freshwater is one of our most valuable resources, and using it wisely helps reduce waste while ensuring long-term availability for both people and ecosystems. 💙

Simple actions can make a big difference:
🚰 Fix leaking taps and pipes
⏱️ Take shorter showers
🔒 Turn off taps when not in use
🌊 Prevent the disposal of industrial and human waste into our water bodies

Happy Menstrual Health Day!♥️

Today, as YESS Girls, we joined the Ghana Girl Guides Association to celebrate MH Day through the Battle of the Bold Debate 🔥

The topic was:
“Menstrual hygiene products should be provided free in all public schools.”

It was such an insightful and inspiring session! We listened, learned, and shared strong opinions on breaking period poverty and ending stigma around menstruation.

Every girl deserves to learn without shame or barriers.
Let’s keep pushing for change! 💗🩸

Menstruation is normal. Support, dignity, and access should be too. Creating a means showing up for every girl. ❤️

Menstrual Hygiene Day (MH Day) is a global advocacy day celebrated annually on May 28th. Dedicated to breaking the silence, breaking period stigma, and promoting access to safe products,
and sanitation facilities for all women and girls.

Challenge cultural taboos,myths and shame surrounding menstruation.
Encourage governments and organizations to prioritize menstrual hygiene in public facilities, schools, and workplaces.

Today we read Laura’s story to 207 young girls from GAEC, had open group discussions, and packed Aunt Flo’s Dopp Kits! Each kit has sanitary towels, panty liners, wipes, soap, and a painkiller simple, affordable, and student-friendly.
Because no girl should miss school just because of her period. 🩸🩸
