This week, the Ghana Health Service, through the National Malaria Elimination Programme , is continuing the first cycle of the 2026 Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) campaign in the Bono East, Savannah and Northern Regions. The campaign, which will run from 1st to 4th July 2026, aims to provide preventive malaria medication to eligible children aged 3 months to 59 months to protect them against malaria during the peak transmission season.

Parents and caregivers are encouraged to make their eligible children available when health workers and volunteers visit their homes and communities.

Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention is an initiative of the Ghana Health Service, implemented through the National Malaria Elimination Programme with support from the Global Fund .

Solidarity with Flood-Affected Communities Across Ghana.

The Elorm Health Initiative (EHI) extends its deepest thoughts and prayers to all families and communities across Ghana impacted by the recent devastating floods.
During environmental crises, the risks of waterborne diseases, compromised sanitation, and the vulnerability of nursing mothers and children become critical emergencies.

In line with our mission to protect health hygiene and maternal care, we stand firmly with you.
We urge everyone in affected zones to prioritize safety, treat drinking water, and stay on high ground.

EHI is actively assessing how to support recovery efforts.
