It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Country Director, Rev. Samuel Buenor Lawerteh, who went to be with the Lord on Friday, 24th July 2026, after a short illness.

We give thanks to God for his life, his selfless leadership, and his dedicated service to Literacy and Evangelism Ghana. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, and love for God's work.

A book of condolences has been opened in his memory at the Literacy and Evangelism Head Office in Haatso, Accra, as well as at his home in Ada. All who wish to share their thoughts, memories, and tributes are welcome to sign.

Please keep his family and our ministry in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult season. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
