PEC-G 2027 – Applications Open
(Pre-selection Phase)

The Embassy of Brazil in Accra is pleased to announce that applications for the Undergraduate Exchange Program (PEC-G 2027) are now open.

Ghanaian students interested in pursuing undergraduate studies in Brazil are invited to apply from 31st March, 2026 to 9th May, 2026.

The Programa de Estudantes-Convênio de Graduação (PEC-G) offers nationals of developing countries, with which Brazil maintains educational, cultural, and scientific and technological cooperation agreements, the opportunity to undertake undergraduate studies at Brazilian Higher Education Institutions.
Please note that the scholarship covers tuition fees only. Selected candidates (or their sponsors/guardians) are responsible for all other expenses, including accommodation, airfare, transportation, and living costs in Brazil.

Raphael Adu Adu Rapheal, Godwill Ambassador for Federation of African Youth Development and Ghana National Talents Awards winner, has fulfilled a promise he made last year. He presented eight newly sewn school uniforms to students of Bokuruwa Presby Primary School and Bokuruwa D/A JHS as part of his Neatness Initiative. The event took place on January 13, 2026, at Bokuruwa D/A JHS, with dignitaries including traditional leaders, headteachers, Hon. William Kesse, and the media in attendance.

The beneficiaries received uniforms, exercise books, pens, and pencils. Nana Akwamu praised Raphael Adu's dedication, while Hon. William Kesse commended his youth leadership.

Raphael Adu, a Communication Studies student at UniMAC and CEO of award-winning Raph TV, aims to promote neatness and confidence through his initiative. He'll donate more exercise books in May 2026 and present donations to Kwahu Tafo and Kwahu Nteso this Thursday.

Déclaration formelle de la Fédération pour le développement de la jeunesse africaine

La Fédération pour le développement de la jeunesse africaine condamne fermement l'invasion présumée du Venezuela et la capture de son président par les États-Unis. De telles actions sont en contradiction directe avec les principes inscrits dans la Charte des Nations Unies, notamment le respect de la souveraineté et de la non-ingérence.

L'histoire a montré un schéma inquiétant dans lequel les États puissants poursuivent la domination et l'accès aux ressources sous le couvert d'une intervention, recourant souvent à la force lorsque les voies diplomatiques s'avèrent peu pratiques. Ceux qui résistent à une telle pression sont trop souvent soumis à la coercition ou à la violence.

Plutôt que des actions unilatérales de la part d'une seule puissance, la communauté mondiale doit se réengager en faveur du multilatéralisme, du droit international et de l'autorité d'institutions neutres telles que les Nations Unies et d'autres organismes internationalement reconnus. Ces cadres existent pour assurer l'équilibre, le dialogue et la résolution pacifique des conflits, et ils doivent être renforcés et respectés pour empêcher la normalisation de la force dans les relations internationales.

Les États-Unis ont à plusieurs reprises interféré dans les affaires intérieures de nations souveraines, y compris en Afrique, avec des conséquences tragiques, comme on l'a vu dans des incidents historiques tels que la déstabilisation de la Libye et des actions militaires à travers le continent. De telles interventions reflètent un mépris persistant pour l'autonomie nationale et le droit des peuples à déterminer leurs propres voies politiques et économiques.

L'Union africaine et la CEDEAO doivent donc adopter des positions plus fermes et plus unifiées contre l'ingérence extérieure, quelle qu'en soit la source. Il est également vital que la jeunesse africaine se lève avec une conscience partagée, défendant les principes d'autodétermination et de souveraineté, et façonnant activement un avenir défini non pas par la domination étrangère mais par un développement et une dignité menés par les Africains.
