This week we explore the deeper meaning of “name” in scripture. In Acts 4:12, a name is not just a label — it represents identity, purpose, and the role God has assigned to a person before birth.

From Jeremiah being called as a prophet before he was born, to Jesus being revealed as the Son of God, scripture shows that God gives identity before destiny unfolds. The enemy, however, seeks to distort that identity through confusion, temptation, and life’s challenges.

We see this clearly in the life of Jacob. Though God declared his destiny before birth, he lived under the wrong identity until his encounter with God changed his name to Israel. That change brought restoration, peace, and fulfillment of God’s purpose.

In the same way, when we come to Christ, we receive a new identity as Sons of God. The question is: What name do you respond to? The identity the world placed on you, or the identity God has spoken over your life?

Let’s talk about parasites—organisms that live off others while putting their hosts at risk.

In the same way, we sometimes encounter “spiritual parasites” in the church—people who seek the benefits of being a part of the Christian community without truly living as followers of Christ.

This week, we take a deeper look and challenge ourselves with an important question:
Are we genuinely born again, or are we simply feeding off the faith around us?

What began in Eden was fulfilled through Christ. In Jesus Christ, we see the full expression of God’s image—restored, redeemed, and made new.

This is the beauty of the resurrection: not just life after death, but life made whole again.

This week, we learn how as believers we should always focus and stand on God's word, which is TRUTH and not the dictates or conventions of the world, which is FACT and limited.

Words hold a tremendous power in our lives. This is evident in the bible with the world being created by the "speakings" of God.

The words we speak, are based on the things we have in our thoughts and in our hearts becoming flesh.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.- Proverbs 18:21

We must therefore ensure that our words and thoughts are in alignment with God's will and thoughts for us.
