Africa’s greatest obstacle is no longer colonialism, nor is it Western influence, it is our inability to accept and trust one another as Africans.
We speak of liberation, yet we divide ourselves by nationality, tribe, language, and status. We look outward for blame while ignoring the disunity within our own borders. No continent can rise when its own people refuse to stand together.
True progress will not begin in foreign capitals. It will begin when Africans choose Africans when we support each other, trade with each other, and believe in each other. Unity is not a slogan; it is the foundation of power, dignity, and independence.
Africa’s future will not be decided by the West. It will be decided by Africans, when we finally accept that our strength lies in each other.
