MAKE TIME TO PRAY
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed ( Mark 1:35).
Make sure you make time to pray every day. Always pray before you start your day. It is like taking preventative medicine. Prevention is always better than cure. Pray into the day, start to close. Disapprove, disengage, disorganize, reverse all plots of the evil one concerning your day and all other areas of your life.If you don’t, you will get time to look for solutions and answers, the very time you didn’t have to pray to stop it from happening.
Pray to set the tone and pace of your daily life.

GET UNDERSTANDING
And with all thy getting get understanding ( Proverbs 4:7b)
God has a unique way of dealing with each person because we are all different with unique assignments and destines. We mostly tend to inflict unnecessary torment on ourselves when we don’t get things going in our life according to the fit all size time table of man.
This year seek understanding in your walk with God, strive to get all the lessons he wants you to get by taking you through the routes he is leading you on and you will come to appreciate things better.

BE DETERMINED TO DO THE WILL OF GOD
In this new year 2025, there is a kind of food every child of God needs to feed on, and it is, DOING THE WILL OF GOD.
“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work”. John 4:34. Make it a point to know ( find out, seek the face of God) what God wants you to do each day, each week and each month (from January to December) in this year and determine to do accordingly and you will discover what a fulfilling and fruitful year you will have.

READ THE WORD
The body can function properly if only it is healthy. One of the ways of maintaining a healthy body is by feeding it properly.
So it is with our spirit. If you want to have a healthy spiritual life you need to feed it properly, not on physical food but on the word of God. Colossians 3:16 says, let the word of God dwell richly in you.
This new year resolve to feed your spirit man with God’s word every day as much as you can, to have a rich supply of the spiritual food your spirit needs to function at its best.

JOY IN HIS PRESENCE
Today is the first Sunday in 2025. Please do not stay home. In the presence of God, there is fullness of joy – Psalm 16:11. In the fullness of joy there is no sorrow, worry, doubt, or fear there’s just an abundance of love, peace and goodness. Let the Spirit of God lead you into a church where He is. Spend this first Sunday in the presence of God and among believers of Christ. God has a special gift for you today. Please don’t miss it!

This year 2025, in whom have you put your trust? If your trust is in the creator of the universe, the Lord God Almighty, the Alpha and Omega, then know this for sure, that no matter what may come your way this year 2025, you will never be put to shame, be disgraced or disappointed.
As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.(Romans 10:11)
Continue to trust in God in all situations.
