You stayed up late with us to cook for the event, shared in the stress, the laughter, and the workload, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Your leadership was not from a distance it was from within.

Your dedication, humility, and genuine love for your people and community are rare and deeply appreciated. This program succeeded not just because of structures, but because of hearts like yours.

History was made today in Bume as we successfully held the maiden edition of the Miss Teen Bume Contest. The event crowned Rebecca Esenam Nutsukpui as the very first Miss Teen Bume Queen, marking the beginning of a powerful legacy.

As Queen, Rebecca also becomes the inaugural Ambassador for the “Future Before Motherhood” project—an initiative dedicated to advocating for the prevention of teenage pregnancy and empowering young girls to prioritize their education, dreams, and future.

We also proudly celebrate our outstanding finalists:

At Afrika Nyornu Foundation, every outreach, every conversation, every girl empowered, and every life touched this year has been rooted in love, dignity, and community. From menstrual health education to adolescent empowerment, we have seen what happens when compassion meets action.

As we celebrate the birth of Christ—the greatest gift of love—may our hearts remain open to service, kindness, and lifting one another. May this season renew our commitment to building a world where no girl is left behind and every child can dream freely.

🌸 MISS TEEN BUME – Future Before Motherhood

Miss Teen Bume is more than a beauty pageant — it is a platform for empowerment, education, and purpose.
In a community where too many teenage dreams are interrupted by early pregnancy, silence around sexual health, and limited opportunities, we are choosing a different story.

Through Miss Teen Bume, we mentor teenage girls to:
✨ Believe in their potential
✨ Choose education and ambition
✨ Understand their bodies and their rights
✨ Lead with confidence, dignity, and purpose

This year’s edition is part of the Evivi Children’s Party – 2, focused on teenage pregnancy awareness, life skills, and positive role modeling. We are committed to creating a safe, inspiring, and memorable experience for every girl who participates.

✨ HEALTH IS WEALTH! ✨
Afrika Nyornu Foundation, in proud partnership with Newage Agric Solutions Ltd, and *Indus Life Sciences * delivered a truly life-changing Free Community Health Outreach for farming communities in Anfoega Bume and beyond in the Volta Region.

On 12th November, we screened 997 adults and children a record-breaking turnout! People travelled from different parts of the region, some arriving at dawn, all eager to receive medical care they normally cannot access or afford.

Our team provided a full range of services including:
✔ Blood pressure & sugar tests
✔ Breast & cervical cancer screening
✔ General consultation
✔ Ultrasound scans
✔ Dental, eye & ENT care
✔ Skin disease treatment
✔ Family planning
✔ Wound dressing
✔ Free medications and more

Participants also received health talks on hypertension, diabetes, breast cancer, cervical cancer and family planning empowering them with knowledge to protect their health long-term.

Our Executive Director, Maloe Nartey, expressed deep gratitude to our partners:
“We couldn’t have done this without the immense support from Newage Agric Solutions and Indus Life Sciences. They truly believe that Health Is Wealth, and they consistently support our community outreaches.”

One touching moment was a 6-month pregnant woman who said:
“I was asked to do a scan but couldn’t afford it. Today, it was done for me effortlessly. I feel so blessed.”

This outreach was made possible through the collaboration of Afrika Nyornu, Newage Agric Solutions Ltd., M&M Medical Centre, Indus Life Sciences, community volunteers, and our dedicated local leaders.

Together, we are proving that access to quality healthcare is a right not a privilege.
And as we always say… HEALTH IS WEALTH! 💚
