Today, the Judicial Service of Ghana, led by His Lordship the Chief Justice, Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, joined family and friends at the Lashibi Funeral Home and Crematorium for the funeral service of Her Ladyship Justice Ellen Vivian Amoah, a Justice of the High Court.

The late Justice Ellen Vivian Amoah joined the Judiciary as a Circuit Court Judge in July 2013 and was first posted to Circuit Court '6' in Accra, whiles taking on additional responsibilities as a sitting Judge for Circuit Court '8' until a substantive Judge was posted to that Court.

Her judicial and legal ethics, as well as her sense of professionalism paid off in July 2016 with her elevation to the High Court, from where she also sat as additional Circuit Court Judge.

She was also a key resource person to the Service, serving on a number of committees, either as a Chairperson or a member. She was also a faculty member at the Judicial Training Institute (JTI) especially in the training of Judges on e-Justice.
