I was pleased to fulfil a promise I made to the Zongo Youth for Discipline following our recent engagement on their activities and the important role they continue to play in empowering the youth, promoting discipline, and advancing community development.
In support of their noble mission, I officially handed over five motorbikes to the dedicated members of the group, together with essential operational supplies to the Nima Division of the Ghana Police Service, in support of their joint community outreach and discipline enforcement efforts.
This support is intended to empower these hardworking young men and women who continue to make significant contributions towards promoting discipline, combating substance abuse, supporting community safety, and encouraging academic excellence among the youth within our Zongo communities.
This is not merely an act of charity, rather, it is an investment in the safety of our communities, the future of our young people, and the kind of Zongo we all aspire to build.
I strongly believe that when young people are equipped with the right tools, guidance, and opportunities, they become powerful agents of positive change.
I commend the leadership and members of Zongo Youth for Discipline for their dedication, patriotism, and unwavering commitment to building safer and more responsible communities.
I also express my sincere appreciation to the Ghana Police Service for their continued collaboration in maintaining peace, security, and order within our communities.
My gratitude also goes to our revered Chiefs, the police hierarchy, and the entire community for joining us to make this presentation a success.
This is only the beginning. Together, we will continue to invest in our youth, strengthen our communities, and build a brighter future for generations to come.
