බාසල්, රොටර්ඩෑම් සහ ස්ටොක් හෝම් සම්මුතීන්වල පාර්ෂවකරුවන්ගේ රැස්වීම්,ස්විස්ටර්ලන්තයේ ජිනීවා නුවරදී අද සිට එනම් 2023 මැයි 1 සිට 12 දක්වා, ස්විස්ටර්ලන්තයේ ජිනීවා නුවරදී පැවැත්වේ. මෙහිදී බාසල් සම්මුතියේ 16වන පාර්ෂවකරුවන්ගේ රැස්වීමත්, රොටර්ඩෑම් සම්මුතියේ සහ ස්ටොක් හෝම් සම්මුතීන්වල 11වන පාර්ෂවකරුවන්ගේ රැස්වීමත් පැවැත්වේ. මෙවර මෙහි තේමාව වන්නේ "රසායනික ද්‍රව්‍ය සහ අපද්‍රව්‍ය මනාව කළමනාකරණය කිරීම සඳහා වන ඉලක්ක වේගවත් කිරීම" යි. රසායනික සහ පරිසර දූෂණය පිළිබඳ නිරන්තරයෙන් පර්යේෂණ සිදුකරන පරිසර යුක්ති කේන්ද්‍රය, මෙම සම්මන්ත්‍රණයේ තීරණ පිළිබඳ අවධානයෙන්...

The BRS COPs are starting from today, 1st to 12th May 2023 at Geneva, Switzerland. The gathering hosts sixteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Basel Convention (BC COP-16), the eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Rotterdam Convention (RC COP-11) and the eleventh meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Stockholm Convention (SC COP-11). The theme for this Conferences of the Parties to the three conventions is, “Accelerating action: Targets for the sound management of chemicals and waste”. As an organization engaged in research and advocacy on chemical contamination, Centre for Environmental Justice is all ears on the outcomes of this COPs.
