Career Youth Africa is an exciting charity working with young people in Ghana to provide impartial careers information, advice, guidance and support to those age 13-25 years (primarily). Our passion is to suppor
t young people at important times in their lives where key decisions need to be made. We aim to raise the aspirations of young people to enable them to make better decisions that will aide their progress in learning and work, and empowers them to become positive and productive members of society. Our PHILOSOPHY:
Our philosophy is simple! We believe that with the right support and guidance every young person can achieve and succeed. We work with young people by recognising them as individuals in their own right – realising talent and nurturing potential. We know that good fertile soil provides a strong foundation for seeds to grow. With love and care these seedlings grow to be strong healthy plants. Our philosophy for working with young people is very similar – we create unique learning environments where young people feel inspired, motivated and challenged. We encourage creativity and celebrate diversity. Just like those seeds, we firmly believe that young people need strong foundations from which they can grow, develop and flourish. Our SERVICES:
We work with schools and community organisations to offer young people a variety of services including but not limited to, careers advice and guidance, employability workshops, work experience and internship programmes, support and training for teachers, youth and community workers, and targeted programmes and courses. Our services are free of charge, and can be combined to meet identified need. Working with our sister partner Youth Creating Change of Ghana our team has over 25 years’ experience of successfully working with young people to raise aspirations and motivate them to achieve their full potential.
