President, Vice-President, Secretary, & Treasurer
Your 2025 Board worked hard this year to strengthen our HOA and improve services across Glen Laurel, Laurelbrooke, and Barrington.
Highlights include:
• Launched EasyHOA – online payments, documents, and updates in one place
• Added phone and text support for faster contact
• Published a newsletter and held quarterly meetings
• Balanced the budget while managing rising costs for lawn care, insurance, and taxes.
• Collected 92% of 2025 dues
• Secured certified copies of HOA documents from the County Clerk
• Identified the Barrington amendment; aligning their dues with the rest of the community
• Settled 2025 Lawn Care contract
• Adjusted the insurance billing cycle to avoid overlapping with board transitions and annual assessment collection
• Received quotes for speed humps to support future decision-making and potential fundraising or special assessment
VERY SPECIAL THANKS TO OUR VOLUNTEERS THAT HANDLED:
• Community lawn care
• Hand-cleaning vinyl fencing
• Removal of multiple truckloads of debris
• Assisted residents with fence repairs
• Relocated the playground fence forward to better protect children from the street
• Repaired the retention pond fence
• Installed a community flagpole with a bench, **generously donated by a resident
These efforts by volunteers and the Board will allow the HOA to enter 2026 with financial stability, enhaced property values, reduced safety concerns, and lonf-term stability. Lasty, starting the year with a positive budget and no outstanding payments or utilizing any 2026 assessments for 2025 expenses.
