მამათის შესანიშნავი მოზაიკის შესახებ — კარგი ამბავი გვაქვს.

ლანჩხუთის მუნიციპალიტეტის მერიამ ჩვენს წერილს უპასუხა. პასუხი ძალიან დეტალური იყო და თან ახლდა მოზაიკის დღევანდელი მდგომარეობის ამსახველი ფოტოებიც, რისთვისაც მერიას მადლობას ვუხდით. 🙏

რაც მთავარია, გავარკვიეთ, რომ მამათის ყოფილი კულტურის სახლის დანგრევა არ იგეგმება. პირიქით, განიხილება შენობის რეაბილიტაციის შესაძლებლობა, რადგან სოფელ მამათს დღეს ფაქტობრივად არ აქვს კულტურის სახლი. თუმცა, ამ ეტაპზე ეს ჯერ სამომავლო გეგმების ნაწილია.

ჩვენი მხრივ, მერიას შევთავაზეთ ცალკე განვიხილოთ თავად მოზაიკის გადარჩენის საკითხიც — მისი დემონტაჟი, რეაბილიტაცია და ლანჩხუთის მუნიციპალიტეტის რომელიმე საზოგადოებრივ სივრცეში განთავსება. სასიხარულოა, რომ მერია მზად არის ამ საკითხზე შემდგომი დიალოგისთვის. 🤝

იმედი გვაქვს, ერთობლივი ძალისხმევით ამ შესანიშნავი მოზაიკის შენარჩუნებას შევძლებთ. ❤️

P.S. ასევე გვინდა დავაზუსტოთ ერთი ინფორმაცია: AT.GE-ს გვერდზე აღნიშნულია, რომ მოზაიკის სარესტავრაციო სამუშაოები UNESCO-ს წარმომადგენლების მონაწილეობით მიმდინარეობს. ლანჩხუთის მუნიციპალიტეტის მერიისგან მიღებული ინფორმაციით, ამ ეტაპზე მსგავსი სამუშაოები არ მიმდინარეობს.

Some good news regarding the remarkable mosaic in Mamati.

Lanchkhuti Municipality has responded to our letter. Their reply was very detailed and included photographs documenting the mosaic’s current condition, for which we are very grateful. 🙏

Most importantly, we learned that there are no plans to demolish the former House of Culture in Mamati. On the contrary, the possibility of rehabilitating the building is being considered, as the village currently has virtually no functioning House of Culture. At this stage, however, this remains part of future plans.

For our part, we proposed discussing the mosaic separately — its careful removal, rehabilitation, and possible relocation to a public space within Lanchkhuti Municipality. We are pleased that the Municipality is open to further discussion on this matter. 🤝

We hope that through joint efforts it will be possible to preserve this remarkable mosaic. ❤️

P.S. We would also like to clarify one point. AT.GE has stated that restoration work on the mosaic is currently being carried out with the participation of UNESCO representatives. According to the information we received directly from Lanchkhuti Municipality, no such work is currently underway.

📍 რამდენიმე დღის წინ სოციალურ ქსელში გავრცელდა პოსტი გურიაში, სოფელ მამათის ყოფილი კულტურის სახლის შენობაზე განთავსებული მოზაიკური პანოს შესახებ. პოსტის ავტორის ინფორმაციით, შენობა მიტოვებულია და თანდათან ზიანდება, რის გამოც საფრთხე ემუქრება მასზე განთავსებულ მოზაიკასაც. პოსტს საზოგადოების მხრიდან დიდი გამოხმაურება მოჰყვა.

🔎 აღნიშნულ ინფორმაციასთან დაკავშირებით ფონდი „რიბირაბო“ დაუკავშირდა სოფელ მამათის ოფიციალურ წარმომადგენელს, რომელმაც საკითხის დაზუსტებისთვის გვირჩია უშუალოდ ლანჩხუთის მუნიციპალიტეტის მერიისთვის მიგვემართა.

📩 შესაბამისად, ფონდმა უკვე გაუგზავნა ლანჩხუთის მუნიციპალიტეტის მერიას ოფიციალური წერილი, რომლითაც მოვითხოვეთ ინფორმაცია შენობის სამართლებრივი და ტექნიკური მდგომარეობის, მასთან დაკავშირებული სამომავლო გეგმებისა და მოზაიკური პანოს არსებული მდგომარეობის შესახებ.

⏳ ამ ეტაპზე ველოდებით მერიის პასუხს.

🛟 თუ ოფიციალური ინფორმაცია დაადასტურებს, რომ მოზაიკურ პანოს დაზიანების ან განადგურების რეალური საფრთხე ემუქრება, ფონდი „რიბირაბო“ მზად არის, ლანჩხუთის მუნიციპალიტეტის მერიასთან და სხვა შესაბამის მხარეებთან თანამშრომლობით, ჩაერთოს მისი შენარჩუნებისა და გადარჩენისათვის საჭირო გზების მოძიებასა და შესაბამისი ღონისძიებების განხორციელებაში.

📍 A few days ago, a post was shared on social media concerning the mosaic panel located on the former House of Culture building in the village of Mamati, Guria. According to the author of the post, the building has been abandoned and is gradually deteriorating, placing the mosaic on its wall at potential risk. The post received considerable public attention and response.

🔎 In connection with this information, the Ribirabo Foundation contacted the official representative of Mamati, who advised us to approach the Lanchkhuti Municipality City Hall directly for further clarification.

📩 Accordingly, the Foundation has already sent an official letter to the Lanchkhuti Municipality City Hall requesting information regarding the building’s legal and technical status, any future plans concerning the property, and the current condition of the mosaic panel.

⏳ We are now awaiting an official response from the Municipality.

🛟 Should the official information confirm that the mosaic is indeed at real risk of damage or destruction, the Ribirabo Foundation is prepared to work in cooperation with the Lanchkhuti Municipality and other relevant parties to identify appropriate solutions for its preservation and to participate in the necessary measures to safeguard the artwork.

📢 We will keep you informed of the Municipality’s response and any further developments concerning the mosaic.

გვსურს გაგაცნოთ ადამიანი, რომლის გარეშეც რიბირაბოს ფონდის ყოველდღიური მუშაობა წარმოუდგენელია — ფონდის საზოგადოებასთან ურთიერთობის/კომუნიკაციების დირექტორი, ლიუსინ ბარდონი. ❤️

ზოგჯერ ისე ჩანს, რომ ლიუსინს ყველაფრის ერთდროულად კეთება შეუძლია. ის ყოველთვის კავშირზეა, ყოველთვის მოძრაობაშია, ერთდროულად აკონტროლებს ათობით პროცესს — და ამ ყველაფრის მიუხედავად, საოცარი სიმშვიდის, ყურადღებისა და კეთილგანწყობის შენარჩუნებას ახერხებს.

ლიუსინი ჩვენი ფონდის ნამდვილი მამოძრავებელი ძალაა. სწორედ მისი პასუხისმგებლობის, ორგანიზებულობისა და ენერგიის წყალობით ბევრი ჩვენი პროექტი იძენს ფორმას, ხმას და საკუთარ აუდიტორიას. ყოველი ანონსის, პუბლიკაციის, ღონისძიების, ინტერვიუსა თუ კომუნიკაციის უკან დგას მისი უზარმაზარი შრომა, რომელიც ხშირად “კადრს მიღმა” რჩება.

Nous souhaitons aujourd’hui vous présenter une personne sans laquelle il serait désormais impossible d’imaginer la vie quotidienne de la fondation « Ribirabo » : Lusine Bardon, directrice des relations publiques et de la communication de la fondation. ❤️

Il est des personnes dont la présence devient peu à peu indispensable, tant leur énergie, leur intelligence et leur dévouement imprègnent tout ce qu’elles entreprennent. Lusine est de celles-là.

On pourrait croire qu’elle possède le don rare d’être partout à la fois. Toujours disponible, toujours en mouvement, elle coordonne simultanément une multitude de projets avec une aisance déconcertante, tout en conservant ce calme lumineux, cette attention délicate aux détails et cette bienveillance sincère qui la caractérisent.

Lusine est, sans aucun doute, l’âme motrice de notre fondation. Grâce à son sens aigu des responsabilités, à son organisation remarquable et à son énergie inépuisable, nos projets prennent vie, trouvent leur voix et rencontrent leur public. Derrière chaque publication, chaque événement, chaque interview, chaque rencontre ou échange se cachent des heures d’un travail discret, exigeant et souvent invisible.

Ce qui suscite une admiration particulière, c’est sa capacité à accomplir tout cela malgré un engagement public intense et un emploi du temps d’une rare densité. Et pourtant, même au cœur de cette effervescence permanente, Lusine trouve toujours le temps et la force de soutenir son équipe, de conseiller, d’apaiser, de résoudre les difficultés et de conduire chaque chose vers son accomplissement le plus juste.

C’est pour nous un immense privilège de travailler aux côtés d’une personne d’une telle qualité humaine et professionnelle — une femme profondément engagée, qui met sincèrement son cœur au service de ce qu’elle fait. ❤️

დღეს ევროპის დღის ფარგლებში, UNDP Georgia-ს ორგანიზებით, ჩვენი უკვე ტრადიციად ქცეული მოზაიკის მასტერკლასი გაიმართა. ❤️

რიბირაბოსთან ერთად პროექტში მონაწილეობდა ასევე -ის მოზაიკის სკოლა. მთელი დღის განმავლობაში უამრავი ადამიანი გვესტუმრა, შექმნეს საკუთარი პატარა მოზაიკები და, რაც ყველაზე მნიშვნელოვანია — ძალიან ბედნიერები და კმაყოფილები დარჩნენ. ✨

განსაკუთრებული მადლობა ჩვენი მასტერკლასის თანაწამყვანებს — ვლადიმერ ამელინსა და ჰანნა სერდიუკს, პროფესიონალიზმისა და საოცარი ენერგიისთვის. 🙏

და, რა თქმა უნდა, დიდი მადლობა ორგანიზატორებს — განსაკუთრებით მარიამ ბეგიაშვილსა და ელენე საყვარელიძეს, რომლებთანაც მომზადების პროცესში მუდმივად ვიყავით კავშირზე- ამ შესანიშნავი დღის შექმნისთვის.

Today, within the framework of Europe Day and organized by UNDP Georgia, our now traditional mosaic workshop took place. ❤️

Alongside Ribirabo, the School also participated in the project. Throughout the day, we welcomed many visitors who created their own small mosaics and, most importantly, left happy and inspired. ✨

Special thanks to our co-hosts, Vladimir Amelin and Hanna Serduk, for their professionalism and wonderful energy. 🙏

And of course, heartfelt thanks to the organizers — especially Mariam Begiashvili and Elene Sakvarelidze with whom we were constantly in touch throughout the preparation process — for making this beautiful day possible. 🌸🌞

დღეს გიორგობაა🌞❤️
ამ დღისთვის მინდა გაგიზიაროთ საინტერესო ისტორია ლიდდიდან ( ახლანდელი ლოდიდან) — ქალაქიდან, სადაც წმინდა გიორგიმ ბავშვობა და სიჭაბუკე გაატარა, და სადაც დღესაც მისი სახელობის ტაძარი, საფლავი და უნიკალური მოზაიკებია შემორჩენილი. ❤️
წმინდა გიორგის წამების შემდეგ მისი წმინდა ნაწილები გადაასვენეს ლიდდაში. სწორედ აქ, საუკუნეების განმავლობაში, აღიმართებოდა და ინგრეოდა მისი სახელობის ტაძარი, რომელიც დღესაც რჩება ქრისტიანული სამყაროს ერთ-ერთ მნიშვნელოვან სიწმინდედ.
და ერთი საინტერესო ფაქტი — სწორედ ლიდდაში აღმოაჩინეს თითქმის 160 კვ.მ ფართობის უნიკალური რომაული მოზაიკა, რომელიც III-IV საუკუნეებით თარიღდება. ანუ, იგი შეიქმნა დაახლოებით იმავე ეპოქაში, როცა წმინდა გიორგი დაიბადა და ეწამა.
მოზაიკა 1996 წელს აღმოაჩინეს, ქალაქის ერთ-ერთი ქუჩის გაფართოებასთან დაკავშირებული სამუშაოების დროს. მოგვიანებით იგი სპეციალურ მსუბუქ კონსტრუქციებზე გადაიტანეს, რამაც შესაძლებელი გახადა მისი მოგზაურობა მსოფლიოს მუზეუმებში. 2010 წელს მოზაიკა ნიუ-იორკის მეტროპოლიტენის მუზეუმშიც გამოიფინა, რის შემდეგაც თითქმის ხუთი წლის განმავლობაში ევროპის და ამერიკის ქალაქებში მოგზაურობდა.
დღეს ეს უნიკალური მოზაიკა კვლავ დახურულია ფართო საზოგადოებისთვის და მხოლოდ მისი ერთი ფრაგმენტია გამოფენილი ხაიფის ეროვნულ საზღვაო მუზეუმში.

Today is St. George’s Day 🌞❤️
On this occasion, we would like to share an interesting story from Lydda (modern-day Lod) — the city where Saint George spent his childhood and youth, and where his church, tomb, and unique mosaics still survive today. ❤️
After Saint George’s martyrdom, his holy relics were transferred to Lydda. It was here that, over the centuries, churches dedicated to him were built and rebuilt, making the city one of the important sacred places of the Christian world.
And one more fascinating fact — it was in Lydda that a unique Roman mosaic of nearly 160 square meters was discovered, dating back to the 3rd–4th centuries AD. In other words, it was created around the same era in which Saint George was born and martyred.
The mosaic was discovered in 1996 during road expansion works in the city. Later, it was transferred onto special lightweight supports, which made it possible to transport and exhibit it around the world. In 2010, the mosaic was displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, after which it traveled across Europe and America for nearly five years.
Today, this remarkable mosaic is once again closed to the general public, and only one fragment of it is currently exhibited at the National Maritime Museum in Haifa.

განსაკუთრებული მადლობა “ პირველი არხის” ჟურნალისტს ბარბარე დონჯაშვილს, რომელმაც თითქმის ნახევარი წლის განმავლობაში ზედმიწევნით, თანმიმდევრულად და მაღალი პროფესიონალიზმით დააფიქსირა მოზაიკის აღდგენის პროცესი და გადაღებული მასალა ცოცხალ და საინტერესო ისტორიად აქცია.🙏👌🥰❤️

We are delighted to announce that we have completed the project “New Life of Soviet Mosaic (the AGREGATI Mosaic rescue project )”. 💪
Very soon, this mosaic from the last century — an important part of our cultural heritage — will become accessible to the public, having been saved from destruction through the rehabilitation carried out by our foundation. 👌❣️
Special thanks to Barbare Donjashvili, journalist of Pirveli Arkhi, who over nearly six months meticulously, consistently, and with outstanding professionalism documented the restoration process and turned the filmed material into a vivid and engaging story. 🙏👌🥰❤️
