Norbert Lenke und seine Frau Ruth Schäfer-Lenke verbinden eine ganz besondere Liebe mit Georgien.
Der erste Kontakt entstand über den Rotary Club, als sie die ersten Studentinnen und Studenten aus Georgien bei sich aufgenommen haben. Was daraus gewachsen ist, ist viel mehr als ein Austausch: echte Freundschaften, tiefes Vertrauen und ein starkes Gefühl von Familie.
Ihre außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft, Herzlichkeit und all das, was sie über viele Jahre für „ihre“ georgischen Student:innen getan haben, ist bis heute von unschätzbarem Wert.
Sie haben Georgien mehrfach besucht und pflegen weiterhin engen Kontakt zu ihren georgischen Freundinnen und Freunden. Georgische Werte und Kultur liegen ihnen daher besonders am Herzen.
Vielen Dank, liebe Ruth und lieber Norbert, für eure Offenheit, eure Menschlichkeit und eure tiefe Verbundenheit mit Georgien.

Norbert Lenke and his wife Ruth Schäfer-Lenke share a very special love for Georgia.
Their first connection began through the Rotary Club, when they welcomed the first students from Georgia into their home. What started as an exchange grew into genuine friendships, trust, and a strong sense of family.
Their exceptional hospitality, warmth, and everything they have done for their Georgian students over many years are deeply appreciated.
They have visited Georgia several times and continue to stay closely connected with their Georgian friends. Georgian values and culture therefore hold a very special place in their hearts.

ნორბერტ ლენკესა და მის მეუღლეს, რუთ შეფერ-ლენკეს, განსაკუთრებული სიყვარული აკავშირებთ საქართველოსთან.
მათი პირველი კონტაქტი როტარი კლუბის მეშვეობით დაიწყო, როდესაც მათ საკუთარ ოჯახში პირველად მიიღეს ქართველი სტუდენტები. ეს ურთიერთობა გაცილებით მეტი აღმოჩნდა, ვიდრე უბრალოდ გაცვლა — ჩამოყალიბდა ნამდვილი მეგობრობა, ნდობა და ოჯახური განცდა.
მათი გამორჩეული სტუმართმოყვარეობა, სითბო და ის ყველაფერი, რაც წლების განმავლობაში გააკეთეს ქართველი სტუდენტებისთვის, უაღრესად დასაფასებელია.
ისინი არაერთხელ ესტუმრნენ საქართველოს და დღემდე ინარჩუნებენ მჭიდრო კავშირს ქართველ მეგობრებთან. ქართული ღირებულებები მათთვის განსაკუთრებით მნიშვნელოვანია.
