๐ด As part of the Stronger Together project, a local workshop on self-awareness was held in Chiatura, Georgia ๐ฌ๐ช. The session was organized by key member of our organization - Mariam Dogadze and brought together 17 young people aged 14 โ 17. Some participants were internally displaced youth (IDPs) who had experienced difficulties due to conflict and resettlement.
๐ดThe purpose of the workshop was to help young people better understand their emotions, personal values and to build a safe space where both displaced and local youth could reflect, connect and grow. It was also a way to support inclusion, build empathy and encourage young people to feel more confident and engaged in their communities.
๐ด Audience members were introduced to a 36 month project, co-funded by the European Union, ๐ช๐บ aimed at strengthening youth organizations - Stronger Together: Strengthening Youth Workers and Organizations for Displaced Youth Integration and Resilience (SYWOR). The project is implemented with partner organizations working on the same social problems in Ukraine, Poland, Moldova and Turkey. ๐ฌ๐ช๐บ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฉ๐น๐ท
