Optimal Conditions for Herbicide Application: A farmer's guide to maximizing production through effective agronomic practices - By Agronomist H.Kanyimbo

To achieve the best results when using herbicides, it's crucial to consider the moisture level of the soil. Whether you're applying herbicides before or after emergence, it's important to avoid spraying on dry soil. When herbicides are applied to dry soil, the chemicals can remain on the surface for 12 to 15 days. However, if no moisture is provided during this period, the chemical will dry off without being effective.

Now, you may wonder why soil moisture is so important. The key is to target w**ds while they are actively growing and transporting nutrients throughout their systems. When the herbicide comes into contact with these actively growing w**ds, it enters their system and disrupts the transportation of nutrients, ultimately causing their demise.

In addition, moist soil aids in the effective pe*******on of the herbicide, ensuring the elimination of any w**d seeds that may be present.

Therefore, before applying herbicide, it is crucial to ensure that the soil has sufficient moisture. This will greatly enhance the effectiveness of the herbicide, allowing it to precisely target and eliminate w**ds, resulting in improved w**d control.

Remember, it's best to spray herbicides when conditions are suitable for planting. By following these practices, we can collectively improve our crop production. Let's grow together and keep in mind that agronomist H. Kanyimbo as the farmers @ Heart ❤️.
