LOCAL U CHANGE EVENT
During the live week in Spain, the Georgian team came up with the idea to organise workshops about waste, waste collection and recycling in their local school. The school is located in Mtskheta-mtianeti, which is a mountain village in Kazbegi, Georgia 🏔️ It's a small school with about 70-80 students and the access to climate education and other important topics related to environmental protection is very limited 💡
The team shared their U Change experience and their knowlegde with children of 3 classes (12-16 years old) and they expressed their desire to recycle old things and give them a new life 🌍 In the coming weeks the students will make objects for Christmas and others will try to make tools for working in the garden 🌱 On December 21st they organise an exhibition of their creations for their teachers and families at the school. What an amazing teamwork! 💪
