Huge congratulations to St. George’s University (SGU), our 2026 Inter-Sector Cricket champions! 🏆🏏 It was an incredible final against His Majesty’s Prisons (HMP) at the playing field, and we loved the energy from both sides. 🌟

Both teams showcased remarkable teamwork and focus. While HMP fought hard, SGU ultimately emerged victorious, a performance that was a true testament to the spirit of this tournament and earned them their spot at the top of the podium. 🏅🔥

This year’s tournament wouldn't have been possible without our partners and contributors: Unicomer Courts, Blast Gaming, NLA, Hubbard’s, The Wire Man’s House, Nexa Credit Union, Caribconex, and Creative Design & Building Construction Co. 📢Call to Assist Children in Morne Rouge – Back-to-School Drive
This school term, over 150 children in Morne Rouge are in urgent need of support to return to school fully prepared. Many families are struggling to provide the essentials, and with your help, we can make sure no child is left behind.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Ms. Andrea, who has been collecting donations all summer, several children have already received much-needed supplies. However, critical items are still needed, including:

40 Senior School Backpacks
200 Notebooks
100 Reusable Water Bottles
100 Pencil Cases
20 Poster Paints
12 Glue Sticks
12 Scissors

Funds for Shoes, Shirts, Pants & Belts (12 children still need full outfitting)

How You Can Help:
Donations can be dropped off at Bryden & Minors, Grand Anse (ask for Ms. Daniel – Branch Manager) or coordinated directly with Ms. Andrea at +1 (473) 415-4941.

Time is of the essence, as bags will be packed tomorrow evening. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a meaningful difference in giving a child confidence, hope, and a brighter start to the new school year.

The Office of the Prime Minister is proud to announce the upcoming visit of NBA Champion and philanthropist Pascal Siakam to Grenada, from July 28 to 30, 2025.

A star player for the Indiana Pacers, Siakam is known not only for his achievements on the basketball court but also for his leadership and dedication to community empowerment. He is the founder of the PS43 Foundation, which supports youth through education, life skills training, and mentorship initiatives.

Born in Douala, Cameroon, Siakam’s remarkable journey from humble beginnings to NBA success is a powerful example of resilience and the life-changing impact of sports.

While in Grenada, Siakam will participate in the Afri-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2025, joining a panel discussion on “Creating Markets from Sports, Culture, and Innovation.” The session will highlight the opportunities for Africa and the Caribbean partnerships in the global creative economy.

In addition, Siakam will host a basketball and cybersecurity camp for local youth, offering them a chance to engage with and learn from a global sports icon.

The Government of Grenada is honored to welcome Pascal Siakam and celebrate the values of excellence, opportunity, and collaboration that his visit embodies.
