We’d just like to address one issue we have been made aware of - that some people seem to find it strange that we never post photographs of our diners.
It has always been our policy never to do this and we only take photos of our volunteers and of course our delicious meals!
The privacy and confidentiality of our guests is very important to us and we work hard building up trust so that people will take that first step to seeking help. And perhaps then a second.
We would never expose our diners to public scrutiny. For many people, their neighbours, work colleagues, friends and even family are not aware that they come for meals and are struggling. We know people are grateful and don’t need to parade their thanks for others to see.
So rest assured - if you ever see our volunteers taking photos, it is only of our lovely food and smiling team ❤️

A busy Sunday kitchen serving delicious home made meals including a tray of cupcakes to celebrate the start of the World Cup ⚽️
Over 300 two-course meals served, with deliveries to households unable to come.

A super busy service today with so many delicious choices of meals. Around 130 diners came and 300+ two-course meals served, including meals for other days. Meals were also delivered to households in need.
Thank you to our amazing, dynamic and friendly team today, including our lovely new volunteer Lorraine - thank you for your great help.
Thank you too to Lorraine from Bookcase for all who gave out lots of books.
