✨Festival of Stories ✨
Two summer days of stories, sunshine and gentle connection in York — book extracts, author talks, craft, poetry, and plenty of space to just be. Lunch included. We’ll round things off with a cosy celebration in September!
📅 18 & 25 Aug, 10.30–4pm — York Medical Society
📅 22 Sept, 10.30–1pm — York Explore Library
For people who aren’t currently in work, and are either aged 50–64 or have a long-term condition. Only a few places left — get in touch to book. 💛

We’re so excited to be launching a new Not a Book Club taster session with our friends at The Leveson Centre for people affected by cancer. Come along, listen to a story read aloud, and enjoy a relaxed conversation—no preparation needed, just bring yourself. 📚💙

Would you like the chance to enjoy stories without the pressure of a book club?

Join our brand new Not a Book Club taster session on the 28th September, 10:30am - 11:45am! 📖✨

A facilitator from Shared Story CIC will read a short extract aloud to the group, so you can enjoy the story and share your thoughts in a pressure-free environment. There's no need to prepare, just come as you are!
