For the past 10 years, I’ve been incredibly proud to raise more than £150,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. This year, though, it feels much more personal.
After cancer touched both my mum’s life and my own, and after completely transforming my health by losing 8½ stone over the last 18 months, I’ve decided to take on one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever faced.
*On 3rd October, alongside my colleagues Rebecca Moore and David Todd, I’ll be climbing Mount Snowdon* overnight to raise vital funds for a charity that now means more to me than ever and to restart my charity journey.
If you’re able to support us, any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean the world. Macmillan has been there not only for my mum and me, but for countless friends, families and people facing cancer across the UK. Every pound raised will help ensure they can continue providing that incredible support.
