We are excited to announce that Gonzales has found a home from our UK foster base! ❤️

After completing his assessment process, Gonzales has had his teeth done, vaccinations updated, feet trimmed, and physio sessions and he was even an absolute superstar being ridden again for the first time in 7 months! 🙌🏼

He is the cuddliest boy, certainly knows exactly when dinner time is due, and he will be greatly missed by everyone at the base.

We know he is heading to an amazing home, where he will be reunited with one of our other much-loved Malta horses. Wishing Gonzales and his new family all the happiness in the world 🐴

We are excited to announce that the incredible team at Equine Exceed have partnered with us to support the horses at the Second Chance Horse Rescue UK foster base! 🙏🏼❤️

They will be providing every horse that arrives at the base with a one-month supply of Gastro 1 - an amazing product designed to help stabilise the gut microbiome and restore intestinal barrier function.

Gastro 1 will be given to all foster horses to support them through the transition period, helping to ease the stress that naturally comes with moving to a new home and adapting to new pasture and surroundings.
Once each horse has settled in, they will then receive an additional supplement from the Equine Exceed range, carefully tailored to their individual needs and discussed on a horse-by-horse basis.

Jo, who runs our foster base, has already been using Equine Exceed products with her own Malta babies as well as previous foster horses, and she has seen incredible results. We are therefore absolutely delighted to have the support of such an amazing company behind us 🤩
