Cleveland Naturalists Field Club

Founded in 1881. The club seeks to promote an interest in all branches of natural history.

In spring and summer we have visits to areas of natural history interests, whilst in winter we have series of illustrated talks on the third Monday of the month.

The field club helped with the Environment Agency’s recent relocation of orchids from Greenabella marsh to a safer location which will not be affected by the realignment of the sea defences in the Greatham Creek area.

Cleveland Nats are joining with the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust for a series of natural history walks/events over this summer. Come and join us and see what Teesside has to offer in its varied wildlife offering.

Our annual general meeting and members afternoon will be on Monday 20th April at the Marton Community Centre, Cypress Road, Marton at 2pm. All welcome.

Our next indoor meeting will be on Monday 16th March at 2
pm at the Marton Comunity Centre, Cypress Road, Marton TS7 8PZ. The talk will be given by Steve Ashton of the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust. All welcome.

Our next meeting will be on Monday 16th February at 2pm in Marton Community Centre, Cypress Rod, Marton Middlesbrough TS7 8PZ. The talk will be given by Richard Baines on the North YorkshireTurtle Dove Project. All welcome.

Our next indoor meeting is on Monday 19th January, starting 2.00pm at Marton Community Centre, Cypress Road, , Marton, Middlesbrough TS7 8PZ.
