Covid Memorial Day Woodland Wrexham.

Covid Memorial Day Woodland Wrexham. Hi, our names are Julie & Colette who have both lost family and friends to Covid. We also have Wrexham Council backing and support.

We will be arranging a Rememberance Day each year around the 23rd March for everyone to come along and join us to Reflect.

I met up with Laurel & Steve from Erddig National Trust yesterday and had a lovely chat about what we could possibly do at the Woodland.

Well we have kindly been given permission to put 2 large hearts full of yellow flowers which will bloom in spring as you enter the main gates, one either side.

Also clumps of flowers either side of the pathway. Which we may have a voluntary planting day which I will post up once we know more details.

We are also in talks with regards to some picnic benches being put in the picnic area of the woodland, but we will need some funding for those. Which we will post up more about soon.

If you have any ideas which you may like to see or done please let either Colette or myself know. I can't promise it will happen but it will be considered, it's taken a while to get the above things in place💛💛
