Welcome to Bwlchgwyn School’s out of school childcare facility, known as Bwlchgwyn Cabin Crew. We are a registered childcare provider offering high quality childcare which is accessible and affordable to all, including children from other schools. We operate from a self-contained building situated within the grounds of Bwlchgwyn School. Our aim is to provide a happy, warm, stimulating and secure e

nvironment so that your child can enjoy their time with us. We offer a range of play activities /workshops in a welcoming and safe atmosphere. We operate an Equal Opportunities and Inclusion policy, offering freedom from discrimination. We are regulated by the Care Inspectorate for Wales (CIW) and adhere to the National Minimum Standards for Childcare. We provide care for children aged between 2 and 12 years up to a maximum of 40 children and adhere to a 1:8 adult:child ratio. Bwlchgwyn Cabin Crew is managed by a small group of volunteer parents who employ a team of staff, all of whom are DBS checked and suitably qualified. In addition to their childcare qualifications staff also hold first aid, food hygiene and child protection qualifications as a minimum. We firmly believe in equality of opportunity and welcome children from all cultural and religious backgrounds. We also welcome children with specific needs. We have facilities to cater for those with physical, behavioural and educational specific needs.

🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈 All the colours this week! The children at Flying Start and Playgroup have really enjoyed all the colours of the rainbow! They have loved singing β€œPass the colour” 🎡🌈 and naming the colours in Welsh and English! They have printed colourful pictures using paints and chalk pens and loved sliding ice paints around the tuff tray and watching the colours blend together to make new ones! 🎨πŸŸ₯🟨🟦🟩πŸŸͺ

This morning we found a little robin nest under the canopy where the children play! πŸ₯° The children have loved watching the mummy and daddy bird going back and forth carrying worms in their beaks to feed their little chicks! 🐣 We snuck a quick video so the children were able to see the chicks in their nest! πŸ₯°
